design world, there are some myths that affect the progress of
designing process. Sometimes myths are considered as facts by
designers, which directly affects the quality and creativity. Some of
these myths are:
- Design is just for looks – Most of the people believe that designing means using attractive images with good features etc. It is much more than attractive images. It is about making features and making them work properly.
- More features mean good website – It is another myth that adding more features means creating a good website. However, it is not true. Adding more than necessary features or gadgets just confuse users. It makes web pages more complex.
- One design is good for all devices – Another myth in this field is that one design is appropriate for all devices. Today people use different devices like mobiles, tabs, PCs etc. In every device, websites need a different layout that fits it.
